A chilling history of Tel Aviv – Yafo will be unveiled in this special exhibit, in which numerous tragedies and misfortunate events will be detailed.
Documents, photographs, video footage and artifacts will tell the story of the city's darkest moments: the 1917 expelling of Tel Aviv's residents by the Ottoman governor; the violent clashed between Jews and Arabs during the 1920s; the 1941 air bombardment of the city by the Italian Fascist Air Force; and the list goes on.
